Procurement

The Seesyarvskiy Poles Impregnation Plant on a permanent basis buys wood round pole pine according to GOST 9463-88 diameter in the upper cut 17 to 22 cm Total volume of timber to 1500 m3 per month.

Requirements for quality according to GOST 9463-88.

1. Poles should be made of living mature pine trees, not affected by fires. Wood fiber should be healthy.
2. Curvature. A simple curvature is allowed. The deflection should not exceed 1% of the length of the log.
3. Knotty. Healthy knots with a diameter of no more than 10 cm are allowed. Rotten knots and not allowed.
4. Notches and other damage. Notches arenít allowed at a distance of 1-2 m from the stump part of the trunk. Healthy small notches are allowed (max. length 1 diameter (in this area), max. width 1/3 the diameter (the land), max. depth 10 mm). Other prohibited.
5. Cracks. Cross cracks are not acceptable. The top should be without any fractured cracks, but butt is allowed 1 longitudinal crack, provided that this crack is not closer than 5 mm. To the outer circle of the trunk.
6. Damage from fungi and insects. It isnít allowed to have tarred areas, rot, holes made by birds, caterpillars, as well as damage from fungi and insects. Any damage rot isn't acceptable. On healthy trunks slight spotted blue is allowed. The poles supplied by the suppliers arenít accepted, if they have mold on it, it is considered a damage from mushrooms.
7. Taperingness. The value of a taper of not more than 1 cm at 1 meter.

Measurement of the volume of the pole is performed according to GOST-2708-75 (table 1).
